Welcome to our modern look at traditional yoga and movement styles

We are a modern boutique yoga experience that pampers and challenges you to develop your piece of mind, body and soul.  Our students are the reason for doing what we do.  From the moment you walk in, you will understand what makes our space so special.  We train our staff to make sure you have an amazing experience from start to finish.

We emphasize your experience and create unique, safe and well thought out classes that are led by educated teachers who care about your workout and work-in.

Our cleaning standards are extremely high. Our studio room is cleaned between each class and the whole studio is freshened up multiple times a day.

You are the key to everything.

We focus on developing a strong community with like minded people who are willing to put in the work and reap the benefits of a strong body and mind.  In our space strangers become friends who work together for the common goal of health and wellbeing.  We are in this together to share in the highs and lows.  To support each other and to grow.  You create the magic, we just guide you along the way.

Why open Modern Movement Yoga?

Our founder, Jolene, is a native of Arizona and moved to South Carolina in 2017 looking to find a new yoga community. While there are so many beautiful studios in the Charleston area to choose from, she couldn’t find a studio that felt like the ones back home. So, in 2019, Jolene took her 200 hour teacher training. “I was either going to just expand my yoga knowledge or open up my own studio.” Now that dream is turning into a reality. “We are a modern boutique style studio that offers well structured classes, amazing customer service and a welcoming community.”
